I met a beautiful woman called Helen
On her birthday, she was 90 years old
At a jungle hut, awaiting her grandchildren
So beautiful, so light and so bold
She chirped on ‘bout her banned ride on the elephant
Held my hands, got me to sing her a song
I saw those eyes well up for one bittersweet moment
As she remembered her man of long
I sensed then how much love can mean
When it spans and transcends time
& how I’d remember the love of Helen
When someday in my arms I’d hold mine
Hey Helen, wherever you are
I hope I’ll always be in love, like you
So lit up from inside, like a star
Coz someday I’ll be 90 too
