Money

There’s money that breathes & money that bleeds
Neither of which we carry to the grave
Rivers of life, we feed flowers and weeds
In some routes misguided. In flow, enslaved

Money moves on like an insatiable lover
Easy on the purse and hard on the soul
One is forever; we tend to treasure the other
It's why rich tombs end up desecrated holes

Use it or lose it, the day you depart
Spend it unearned & it can tear you apart
It's energy in exchange, as simple as that
But Money ain't Manna, if it costs you your heart

There’s money that breathes & money that bleeds
Neither of which we carry to the grave
Rivers of life, we feed flowers and weeds
In some routes misguided, we flow enslaved

Your wealth is your 'why', that priceless passion
In tomorrow's 'raise' lies innocuous damnation
